The Party Raises Its Readiness to the Maximum Level

As the country enters the holiday of Eid al-Adha, a calmness and greetings have settled among the political circles, while the field situation in the south remains unique in the context of the balance of power between Israel and Hezbollah. This situation necessitated the urgent presence of Amos Hochstein, a senior advisor to U.S. President Joe Biden on energy matters, in Tel Aviv on Monday to mend rifts and prevent a deterioration towards a large-scale war that Israel is threatening to initiate against Lebanon. It is not ruled out that Hochstein may visit Beirut depending on the outcomes of his talks in Tel Aviv. Although no appointment has been requested with officials in Beirut, a knowledgeable source told "Al-Anbaa" that such meetings could be scheduled just hours before the gathering.

On another front, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant traveled to Washington. Western media reported that the purpose of the visit is to request more weapons for the northern front, should a decision be made to launch this war against Lebanon. The media added that the visit would also serve as an opportunity to calm Gallant and urge him to desist from his daily threats of an attack on Lebanon, which could drag the region into a war that the United States is trying to prevent by all means.

According to exclusive information obtained by "Al-Anbaa," military elements in Hezbollah have raised their readiness to the maximum level, through controlling the dynamics of the situation and taking the initiative in the field, establishing specific deterrence equations based on this city in Israel opposing that one in Lebanon. This includes introducing new weapons to the field, such as ground-to-ground missiles and air defenses, as well as securing logistical matters for the party's supporters in case specific areas are targeted, prompting a need to relocate.

Israeli warplanes continue their strikes on border towns in a systematic destruction operation along the border strip, while drones are conducting targeted air strikes, having attacked a motorcycle in the town of Aitaroun, resulting in one death and another injury. The Jerusalem Brigade of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad later mourned one of its members.

In other exclusive information, Lebanese official authorities are intensifying their diplomatic communications to stop the momentum towards an expansion of the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah. However, they stress Lebanon’s right to resistance in light of ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty, the occupation of parts of Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba Hills, and the failure to demarcate border points according to the Blue Line established by former UN envoy Terje Rød-Larsen.

Lebanese official authorities are also focusing on the Israeli targeting of Lebanese civilians in their lives and properties, destruction of annual agricultural crops such as tobacco, olives, and citrus, and causing damage to the soil due to the use of internationally prohibited white phosphorus shells, as well as cluster bombs.

Between threats and preparations for facing potential deterioration that is widely discussed, Lebanon continues to challenge difficulties and officially opens its tourism season on Monday, July 1, from Beirut’s Yacht Club in Saint George Bay, currently known as Zaitunay Bay. The Minister of Tourism in the caretaker government, Walid Nassar, will launch the national tourism campaign titled "We're Going on a Journey," under the auspices and presence of the Prime Minister.

The tourism season has strongly commenced in various Lebanese regions, except the south, with a significant turnout at guesthouses and special festivals being held in cities, towns, and villages subsequently. Coastal tourist resorts are experiencing heavy activity reaching the sandy beach of Tyre, stopping short of the coastal border town of Naqoura, which has witnessed significant activity in recent years according to "Al-Anbaa" Al-Kuwaiti.
