The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met with former leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, and his accompanying delegation at the Lusail Palace in Doha. The delegation included the leader of the Progressive Socialist Party and Democratic Gathering, MP Taymour Jumblatt, and the Secretary of the Gathering, MP Hadi Abou El Hassen.
During the meeting, discussions centered on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, focusing on addressing challenges, reducing tensions, and ending the state of conflict in Lebanon and the broader Middle East.
Jumblatt praised Qatar's diplomatic and political efforts, under the leadership of the Emir, to ensure security and stability within the region. He also commended Qatar's active role and unwavering support for Lebanon across various political, economic, and developmental stages, underscoring the brotherly relations between the two nations.
