Rising Temperatures Expected from Next Week

The meteorological forecast department of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation predicts that the weather tomorrow will be slightly cloudy with high humidity levels, causing fog to form at medium altitudes. Temperatures will remain stable on the coast but are expected to rise above the mountains and inland, exceeding seasonal averages.


The bulletin read as follows:


-General situation:


A stable and humid spring weather prevails over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin with temperatures within the seasonal range on the coast and above averages inland and at altitudes. It will turn into relatively hot summer weather starting from the beginning of next week.


Note: Average temperatures for June: Beirut between 22 and 30, Tripoli between 21 and 29, and Zahle between 16 and 32 degrees.


-Expected weather in Lebanon:


Friday:


Generally slightly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures, along with high humidity levels on the coast and fog at medium altitudes.


Saturday:


Slightly cloudy with persistent high humidity levels causing fog to form at medium altitudes. Temperatures will remain stable on the coast but are set to rise above the mountains and inland, exceeding seasonal averages.


Sunday:


Clear to slightly cloudy with an additional rise in temperatures, particularly inland and over the mountains, with high humidity on the coast increasing the feeling of heat.


Monday:


Generally slightly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures and continued high humidity levels on the coast, increasing the sensation of heat.


-Temperatures on the coast range from 22 to 29 degrees, above the mountains from 13 to 26 degrees, and inland from 14 to 34 degrees.


-Surface winds: Southwesterly during the day, variable and weak at night, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.


-Visibility: Good to medium.


-Relative humidity on the coast: Between 65 and 85%.


-Sea conditions: Calm, sea surface temperature: 25 degrees.


-Atmospheric pressure: 759 mmHg.


-Sunrise: 5:27 AM
