Israeli Minister Calls for Lebanon to 'Burn' Following Soldier Deaths

Far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir declared today that 'the whole of Lebanon should burn' after the army announced the deaths of four Israeli soldiers in operations in southern Lebanon, according to a report by 'Agence France-Presse'.

Ben Gvir stated, 'With all due respect to the Americans, Israel must clearly convey to the entire world that it does not compromise on the blood of our sons and the security of our citizens. The whole of Lebanon should burn.'

The Israeli army announced this morning the death of four of its soldiers and injuries to 17 others during military operations in southern Lebanon. This marks their first casualties since the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran to end the Middle East conflict, including in Lebanon.
