Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal visited operational units deployed in the areas of Nabatieh, Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, Kfar Reman, Shaoukin, Zrarieh, and the vicinity of Kfar Tabnit town. He assessed the operational situation, the missions of these units, and the challenges they face amidst ongoing Israeli aggressions and violations.
He emphasized the importance of the measures taken to ensure the safety of citizens in areas subjected to Israeli attacks.
He also highlighted the critical role of the army across various Lebanese regions, particularly in the south, stating that the military institution will remain trusted by the Lebanese people.
Coinciding with the army commander's tour, Israel escalated its aerial offensives in the region. Israeli drones conducted two consecutive strikes targeting the vicinity of the city of Farah in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa and the vicinity of Kfar Tabnit roundabout.
