Hezbollah has strongly criticized the direct negotiation sessions involving the Lebanese authorities in Washington, stating that these talks only lead to Lebanese subjugation under U.S. dictates, compromising Lebanon's sovereignty. The group emphasized that such negotiations align Lebanon with those appeasing the 'Zionist entity', warning that no positive outcomes are anticipated from these reconciliatory talks, as they are fundamentally misguided and suspicious, aiming for submission and surrender.
In a statement, Hezbollah reiterated its condemnation of the direct negotiations with the 'Zionist enemy' and any results derived from them, arguing that these sessions merely serve to disrupt efforts against the enemy's projects. They detract from the significant sacrifices made by the Lebanese people, efforts which the Lebanese government could leverage to secure a complete and unconditional withdrawal from Lebanese land.
The party also asserted that persistent participation in these negotiation sessions fulfils the orders issued by the U.S. to the Lebanese authorities. These actions are taken unilaterally and violate the charter, constitution, and laws, aligning with U.S. and Israeli efforts to escalate the risks threatening Lebanon's stability, independence, and sovereignty.
