Sources familiar with the situation informed 'Wardna' that the management of Ogero had requested an inventory of the Dekwaneh warehouse, which houses fiber optics cables, just days before a significant fire erupted there. Additionally, they called for the installation of surveillance cameras within the facility.
A major fire had broken out in the Dekwaneh area, which was determined to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. Lebanese Civil Defense personnel worked to extinguish the flames that engulfed electric cables and tires on the premises.
According to a statement from the Media and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, eight teams participated in the firefighting operations.
