Lebanese Interior Minister Arrives in Kuwait: Reaffirms Lebanon's Arab Affiliation

The Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Hajjar, arrived in Kuwait on an official visit at the invitation of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. He was received at Kuwait International Airport by Sheikh Fahd, alongside Lebanon's Ambassador to Kuwait Ghadi El Khouri and Deputy Chief of Mission Mia Al-Othaem.

Upon his arrival, Hajjar emphasized the deep relationship between Lebanon and Kuwait, asserting that Lebanon has always been and remains central to the Arab community. He highlighted Lebanon’s solidarity with its Arab brothers who have consistently supported and assisted Lebanon under various circumstances and expressed his commitment to enhancing collaboration and coordination across different sectors.

Hajjar is accompanied on his visit by Major General Raed Abdullah, Director General of the Internal Security Forces; Major General Hassan Cheikhir, Director General of General Security; and Rodaina Marab, Acting Director General of Personal Status Affairs.

Hajjar will hold several meetings with Kuwaiti officials to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. Additionally, he will launch the biometric fingerprint service for the first time outside Lebanon from the Lebanese Embassy in Kuwait for issuing biometric passports.
