The Israeli army has announced that it continues to operate within the "security zone" following political directives, allowing the Lebanese army to prepare for taking control of two test areas.
The Israeli military stated it maintains "operational fire control" over all the areas it has occupied so far.
Furthermore, the statement emphasized that neither residents nor Hezbollah militants are permitted to return to the areas under its control.
Meanwhile, on the ground, the Israeli army has carried out demolitions and set fire to homes in the town of Khiyam, amidst the movement of its vehicles within the area.
