Saudi Arabia and Pakistan Sign MoU to Boost Security Cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on Wednesday reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening security cooperation and expanding their strategic partnership. This was during a meeting between Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and his Pakistani counterpart Mohsin Raza Naqvi in Riyadh.

The meeting involved a review of bilateral relations and discussions on ways to develop cooperation and security coordination between the two Interior Ministries. Several issues of mutual interest were also addressed.

Following the talks, both sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing scientific, training, and research cooperation. This agreement seeks to promote the exchange of expertise and capacity building in shared security fields.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud stated on the "X" platform that the agreement reflects the strong strategic partnership and historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He emphasized the ongoing collaboration to bolster security cooperation between the two nations.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior Saudi security officials, underscoring both countries' commitment to developing security coordination mechanisms and sharing expertise to serve mutual interests and enhance the security and stability of both nations.
