Armed Robbery Targets Currency Exchange Employee in Northern Lebanon

In the town of Anfeh in northern Lebanon, an armed robbery occurred on Wednesday morning near the Anfeh rest area on the highway. The incident targeted an employee working for a currency exchange shop owned by the "M" family in the city of Tripoli.

According to reports, an individual identified as "A.A." was driving to his workplace in Tripoli when a car carrying three masked, armed individuals intercepted him.

The assailants robbed him of approximately 11,000 euros, 50,000 US dollars, and around 100 million Lebanese pounds before fleeing to an unknown location.

Security forces quickly arrived at the scene to begin their investigations and field operations to identify and pursue the perpetrators, with the aim of arresting and bringing them to justice.
