Gunfire Incident Involving Brother of Famous Artist Unfolds in Dekwaneh

The Dekwaneh area witnessed a shooting incident at 3 AM on Thursday in front of 'Moallem Choukib' restaurant, owned by Eli Awad, manager of artist Charbel Narchi.

According to reports, Samir Zeaiter, known as 'Abu Ali Samir', the brother of artist Mohannad Zeaiter, was responsible for the shooting. The incident stemmed from a dispute related to music distributor Eli Attiyeh, who was later detained by security forces while investigations continue.

Reports indicate that Attiyeh was embroiled in a financial dispute with Eli Awad and Charbel Narchi over debts incurred from song distribution, amounting to approximately $15,000 borrowed during his collaboration with them.

The information suggests that upon ceasing work with Charbel Narchi, Attiyeh signed documents acknowledging his debt. However, efforts to recover the payment were fruitless, as he cited reasons relating to travel with Mohannad Zeaiter and the country's security situation to justify the non-payment.

Additionally, Samir Zeaiter remains at large despite an arrest warrant against him. In the meantime, Eli Awad has filed a murder attempt complaint against Samir Zeaiter and Eli Attiyeh, accusing the latter of orchestrating the provocation leading to the attempted murder.
