The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has announced the release of 40 new files concerning unidentified flying objects (UFOs) as part of a document disclosure program initiated following their declassification, in alignment with promises made by former President Donald Trump.
According to an official statement from the Pentagon, the fourth batch of documents is now available through a dedicated page on the department's website. The first batch was released on May 8, 2026, and future releases will continue on a regular basis every few weeks.
The new documents include 19 video clips, 4 audio recordings, 3 photographs, and 14 documents compiled by various American entities, including the Pentagon, the Department of Energy, NASA, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Among the most notable contents is a Department of Energy report about an incident in September 2015, when two employees pursued an unidentified object that breached the airspace of the Pantex facility, related to nuclear weapons, along with testimonies and reports of unidentified objects sighted over the Atlantic Ocean, Western Pacific Ocean, and the Middle East.
The Pentagon confirmed that the document disclosure program will continue in the coming period, with new batches being released regularly to provide more information on unexplained aerial phenomena.
