Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has denounced the repeated attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council states, specifically condemning the recent attack on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the assault on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He stated, "We see these hostile acts as transparent attempts from multiple sources that not only target the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom and the affected states but also systematically aim to undermine the stability of the Gulf region, perpetuating a constant state of tension and unease that serves agendas harmful to our Arab peoples." Emphasizing the historical and fraternal bonds shared with Arab neighbors, Aoun asserted Lebanon's extensive and complete solidarity—both officially and popularly—with Saudi Arabia, all the Gulf states, and Jordan. He affirmed that the security and stability of these nations are integral to Arab national security, and any violation of their sovereignty is a breach of Lebanese and Arab solidarity. Aoun concluded by praying for the protection of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, and Jordan, hoping for continued security, peace, and prosperity.
