The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced that an individual named (M. Sh.) filed a complaint at the Ghazir police station against a woman named (Z. Y.) for stealing an amount of $11,435. He had met her at a club in the Nahr el-Kalb area. Upon leaving around 3 a.m., he discovered that she had stolen the mentioned amount from his bag and fled.
Coordination with the Dahr el-Baidar checkpoint was established, after receiving information suggesting her possible direction towards the Bekaa region. She was apprehended at the checkpoint around 11:00 a.m. the same day.
A patrol from the Ghazir unit raided her home where they found the stolen money hidden. During interrogation, she confessed to the crime.
She was arrested, and the money was returned to its rightful owner, as per the directive of the competent judiciary."
