The media office of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued the following statement:
In accordance with the decision of the State Shura Council dated today, August 24, 2026, regarding review number 27121/2026, which ordered the suspension of the circular issued by the Director General of Education, number 61/2026, it has been decided to postpone the official exams for independent students in general education for the middle and high school certificates across all four branches. A new date will be determined later, taking into consideration the Shura Council's decision or any legislation that may be issued by the Parliament concerning this matter.
