The 'Hajj and Umrah Affairs Authority' has announced in a statement that Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has approved a proposal by Judge Mohammad Al-Makkawi, head of the Authority, to organize overland Umrah trips. This initiative aims to enhance the safety of pilgrims and facilitate the performance of their religious duties.
The Authority highlighted that this decision comes on the eve of the Prophet’s Birthday, delivering good news to Lebanese pilgrims by prioritizing their safety and ensuring the best possible conditions for their Umrah pilgrimage.
On this occasion, Judge Al-Makkawi extended his congratulations to all Lebanese citizens, especially Muslims, praying for peace, prosperity, and blessings upon Lebanon and the Islamic nation as they celebrate the Prophet's Birthday.
