The Ukrainian Air Force declared early Tuesday morning that Russia had sent 17 Iranian-made "Shahid" drones to attack Ukraine, of which air defense systems destroyed 14. In a statement on the messaging app "Telegram," it noted that it had recorded up to 17 drone launches, possibly from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.
