The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority succeeded at the Al-Bathaa border crossing in thwarting an attempt to smuggle a quantity of Captagon pills totaling 4,152,000 pills, which were found hidden in a shipment entering the Kingdom. The Authority reported that the shipment consisted of "ovens used for roasting," transported on one of the incoming trucks. During customs procedures and inspection through security technologies, that quantity of pills was discovered concealed within the cavities of the ovens. "Zakat, Tax and Customs" at the Al-Bathaa crossing thwarted the smuggling attempt of more than 4 million Captagon pills hidden in the "ovens" shipment.
