The Saudi ambassador to Tehran, Abdullah Al-Anzi, presented his credentials today, Sunday, to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. The Saudi ambassador arrived in Tehran last Tuesday to begin his duties, coinciding with the visit of Iranian ambassador Ali Reza Enayati to Riyadh. It is noteworthy that this step of restoring ambassadors to both countries comes after years of diplomatic estrangement between the two sides.
