A group of residents blocked the Beddawi International Highway in both directions by placing a large truck in the middle of the road. They are demanding the authorities to facilitate the return of a patient (F. K.) to Lebanon after he experienced a health emergency in Turkey, as his family is unable to cover the high costs associated with his transfer. The road blockage resulted in severe traffic congestion in the area.
