Egypt's Chairman of the General Authority for Information, Diaa Rashwan, indicated today, Thursday, that "Cairo has proposed a plan to end the bloodshed in Gaza, including a three-phase ceasefire plan." Rashwan stated: "Egypt has put forward a framework for a proposal aimed at bridging the perspectives of the concerned parties, seeking to halt the aggression on Gaza and restore stability to the region." He added: "Egypt has not yet received any responses regarding the proposed framework from any of the parties involved," noting that "once the responses are received, the proposal will be refined in detail and announced fully to the Egyptian, Arab, and global public." He further mentioned: "The formulation of this framework came after Egypt listened to the viewpoints of all the concerned parties."
