Berri Calls for a Joint Committee Session Next Wednesday

The Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, called today, Monday, for the committees on Finance and Budget, Administration and Justice, Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs, National Economy, Trade, Industry and Planning, and Women and Children, to a joint session at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. The agenda includes: 1- A proposed law aimed at establishing a comprehensive mandatory primary healthcare system. 2- A proposed law aimed at securing financial contributions for the Ministry of Public Health. 3- Continuing the study of the bill submitted under Decree 13760 aimed at amending certain provisions of the Social Security Law and establishing a pension and social protection system. 4- A proposed law aimed at amending certain articles of the Social Security Law related to women and their children (Decree No. 13955 issued on September 26, 1963).
