Edin Terzić, the coach of Borussia Dortmund, noted on Wednesday that "there are doubts regarding Jadon Sancho's participation in the match against Heidenheim in the German Bundesliga on Friday, following his absence from team training in recent days due to a problem with his adductor muscle.
In a press conference, Terzić stated: "Jadon Sancho hasn't been able to train with the team for the past two days due to some issues with his adductor muscle." He added, "We won't take any risks and will see before making a decision on whether to include him in the squad for the Heidenheim match."
The English international joined Dortmund on loan from Manchester United earlier this month, after being sidelined due to a dispute with United's coach Erik ten Hag. Sancho left Dortmund after four years for Old Trafford in August 2021 but struggled to secure a starting position, participating in only three matches this season before returning to Germany.
