Oil prices increased in trading on Friday, following confirmations from the "OPEC+" group regarding the possibility of adjusting production cuts if necessary. As of 09:55 Moscow time, West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose by 0.10% to $75.58 per barrel. Meanwhile, global benchmark Brent crude futures increased by 0.04% to $79.88 per barrel, according to Bloomberg data. Oil contracts closed the previous session up by about 2%, with Brent crude rising by 1.85% to $79.87 per barrel and American crude rising by 2% to $75.55 per barrel.
