What Emirates Airline Offered for Eid al-Adha

Emirates Airline celebrates Eid al-Adha with its customers by offering a selection of special regional flavors on its flights, along with new Arabic films and series on the ice inflight entertainment system. Additionally, handmade sweets from the famous Emirati bakery "Home Bakery" will be available. Passengers across all classes on selected flights from June 16 to June 19 will enjoy Eid sweets from "Home Bakery," presented in a special box. "Home Bakery," founded by Emirati entrepreneur Hind Al Mulla, has been a favorite in Dubai for over 10 years and is well-known for its delicious dessert and cake recipes.

Economy class customers will be treated to delightful Eid dishes, including lamb tagine with apricots, potatoes, couscous, and white sesame seeds, along with chicken poppy kebab in tomato sauce with peppers and orange rice garnished with almonds, or the Lebanese Dawood Pasha dish consisting of chicken meatballs served with vermicelli rice. Special Eid desserts include a pistachio cake covered with buttercream and pistachio sauce, or a delicious coffee cake with chocolate mousse topped with Arabica sauce.

Premium economy and business class customers will enjoy traditional lamb sharmoula in a spiced Moroccan sauce accompanied by saffron rice, roasted vegetables, and harissa, or slow-cooked beef short ribs seasoned with Emirati spices served with steamed rice and potatoes, or shrimp marinated in tomatoes, onions, and aromatic rice topped with roasted pine nuts. Desserts include pistachio and chocolate namoura cake, white chocolate cake, and halwa mousse with roasted sesame seeds.

First-class travelers will indulge in carefully prepared dishes such as grilled chicken served with sumac and lemon sauce, roasted potatoes, and baked vegetables, or classic lamb ouzi, which is a grilled lamb steak with traditional spices accompanied by fragrant vegetables and rice. Eid desserts include honey and white chocolate cake with a touch of English cream or rich walnut baklava served with clotted cream.

Emirates also offers a selection of Emirati pastries and Arabic coffee in the lounge on A380 aircraft for first and business class passengers.
