Just days after the announcement of the resumption of re-exports from Lebanon to Saudi Arabia, the first air shipment departed from Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut to Riyadh via Middle East Airlines (MEA), carrying Lebanese roses.
This shipment holds symbolic significance as it marks the return of exports to the Saudi market after a five-year hiatus. This move is eagerly anticipated by the agricultural and commercial sectors in Lebanon, holding high hopes for strengthening Lebanese exports and restoring the presence of Lebanese products in the kingdom.
