On Friday evening, Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waawie announced via a statement on the platform "X" that the military conducted two separate airstrikes targeting individuals in the Ali al-Taher Heights area within Nabatieh District, described as being in the "security zone."
The statement noted that the first strike targeted a member of "Hezbollah" who was active near an underground infrastructure opening in the heights.
It was stated that the individual posed an "immediate" threat to Israeli forces, prompting the air force to carry out a "precise strike to neutralize the danger."
In a second strike, the statement reported that a suspect traveling in a vehicle in the same area was targeted for "posing a threat to the forces operating there."
