The Lebanese Army's Directorate of Guidance announced in a statement that, following a previous seizure where a military unit intercepted Grad rockets with a 122mm caliber in the Arsal wilderness—smuggled from Syrian territory into Lebanese grounds—further investigations and security follow-ups on the smuggling network members led to additional raids. These operations in the town of Arsal resulted in the confiscation of a significant amount of war munitions.
The statement further noted that the seized materials have been handed over, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects involved.
