Coalition Vows Firm Response to Houthi Aggression

The spokesperson for the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Malki, announced on Tuesday that the terrorist Houthi militia's attacks and attempts to target the Kingdom and its national resources, citizens, and residents are a dangerous escalation that confirms the hostile and irresponsible approach of this terrorist group.

General Al-Malki clarified that the reckless attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia, the latest of which targeted civilian and economic sites in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, resulting in injuries to 73 civilians including women and children, are blatant violations of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a direct threat to the safety and security of its citizens and residents.

He added that these unjustifiable and sinful attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia deliberately aim to damage the Kingdom's national assets and civilian infrastructure. Such actions underscore their extremist criminal behavior rejecting peace and stability in Yemen and its Arab and Islamic neighbors.

General Al-Malki affirmed that the coalition’s joint forces command will take all necessary operational measures to deter this terrorist militia and confront their aggressive approach with firmness. This is in defense of the Kingdom's sovereignty, to safeguard its national resources, and to ensure the safety of its citizens and residents. Furthermore, it will undertake all required measures and actions to respond to and neutralize the sources of these threats.
