Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri remarked on the U.S.-Iran agreement on Monday, stating that 'those who are distressed by the U.S.-Iran agreement are not proud of their Lebanese identity.'
Berri's comment came as part of his assessment of the agreement announced to have been reached between Washington and Tehran, which is expected to pave the way for a new phase of understandings and negotiations between the two sides.
