The Yemeni Armed Forces conducted targeted strikes on Sunday against Houthi sites in the Al-Bara, Saqm, and Hodeidah regions, coinciding with ongoing military operations across various fronts.
The forces announced the outbreak of intense clashes with the Houthis in the Kadha front, west of Taiz province, while "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" correspondent confirmed another military operation in northwest Marib.
The correspondent also reported fierce confrontations between government forces and the Houthis in the Al-Bara axis, with forces targeting camps for displaced persons in the villages of Kadha in Taiz province.
Additionally, "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" envoy detected the armed forces taking control of the city of Hys southeast of Hodeidah province, as part of ongoing military activities on the western coastal front.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi forces have intensified their attacks since July, threatening commercial ships and hinting at closing the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, while Iran practically stalled navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which has become the main tension point between Tehran and Washington amid efforts to end the war ignited by US and Israeli strikes on Iran in late February.
