Israel Finalizes Military Plans Targeting Iranian Infrastructure

The Israeli newspaper 'Maariv' has revealed that the Israeli army has completed extensive attack plans aimed at Iranian infrastructure in preparation for a potential new military confrontation with Tehran or in the event of a direct attack on Israel.

The newspaper quoted an Israeli security source stating that the army has 'finished its attack plans' and would be capable of hitting targets not previously attacked in past rounds of combat if the political leadership decides to escalate.

According to the report, the potential targets include Iranian oil and gas facilities, especially Kharg Island, as well as power plants, industrial sites, and transportation networks, as part of a strategy to increase pressure on the Iranian economy.

The source added that these targets were considered in previous confrontations, but a joint American-Israeli decision prevented their targeting at that time.

Despite military readiness, 'Maariv' indicated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu currently prefers not to engage in renewed escalation between the U.S. and Iran, keeping military options open if events develop.

The report noted that the presence of thousands of American soldiers and a significant air force within Israel is a crucial factor in any potential escalation scenario.
